|
Play Safe In the Sun
The Australian Cancer Society recommends:
- Choose a garment that provides good body coverage. For example, a shirt with a collar & long sleeves can make a big difference to your overall UV exposure.
- Wear protective clothing and apply a sunscreen of at least SPF15+ to all exposed skin.
- Make sure you always take a broad-brimmed hat with you and leave it on.
- Take particular care to reduce your sunlight exposure between 11 AM and 3 PM, even on cool or cloudy days.
Read FORECASTS FOR SUN SAFETY for more information on ultra violet radiation, hazard, danger and prevention.
